A Killing Frost

Dabs — отпечатки пальцев

Digs — place to live

Dugs — tits

Prat

Git, Welsh git

Kip — sleep

To have sex:

have it off with

a bit of the other

(to have) a leg over

having it away (in a car)

shagging

Winter Frost

What have you done — had it off with mrs. Mullet?

Mullet doesn't look a complete twat, but he is.

The fuzz, the Old Bill — police

He beat a hasty retreat and dashed down the corridor

So chop, chop! — hurry up

We found the bag IN the road as we were driving home

Expense claim

But sod it. That was tomorrow.

Look — sod her whoever she is.

If I sod the case up, I'll take the blame

«sod it» groaned Frost

how long the poor sod had been dead?

Thanks for sod all — благодарить не за что

I'll try not to sod your cases too much

Which would sod up my theory

I thought she sodded off somewhere to teach me a lesson

What a stupid sod he was

You're sodding me about, aren't you, love?

According to the clever sods in the Met Office

The sod was guilty as sin

The old sod might expect to be offered one

They need a bleeding flogging — порка

They look a right pair of bastards

Sure — won't be a tick

Sorry to have kept you waiting

Mullet would have kittens when he saw the overtime

You Welsh nit.

He'd had a rotten night

Get some kip — поспать

Go off home for some kip

He watched them file out

Hard Frost:

My digs — homeplace

To commandeer — реквизировать

A proper sod-up! — a total mess

A complete sod-up

I'm a prat — я придурок

Be with you in a tick

Not sure if he's actually her husband, if you follow my meaning

They nipped out to the pub

If he had an inch of common decency, he'd have given Allen and Mullet a lift as well
